Ways to finding a subject when you have writers block.

Finding A Subject

Ever get stuck on writing a paper? You can also get writers block when trying to come up with content for a children's ebook. The difficulty is real people, the ideas are running short and my own dead lines for production have been surpassed.

Trying to come up with interesting content can be stressful. One of the reasons can be over thinking it. My thought process is going so fast at times that all of a sudden it stops and gets stuck.

A different reason can be life events going on, the distraction of so many things happening in the world has affected so many people, including myself. Both hurricanes Harvey and Maria have been the biggest impacts and disturbances of my families lives. Being from California, I never thought I'd say that but they did and here we are now.

OK, so how do we get over writers block and how do we get the ideas to roll in? You can start by looking up popular kids shows. Getting ideas from watching kids shows is a really good way to come up with content. You can see exactly what kids are interested in and it will bring traffic to your work.

Coloring books or kids books in general, at the store. You can get ideas from the pictures of those books. Kids books contain pictures because they are in early stages of learning how to read and because companies are trying to get there attention.

And of course there's always the web, full of many ideas and content. You can simply just type a subject into Google's search engine and the most popular subjects come up.

If none of these suggestions work, I advise you just to take a step back and listen to some music. Sometimes you need to distract your mind to clear it and start from scratch.

Double Check Your eBook

Hello everyone,
I just want to inform everyone some of my experiences on writing these eBooks. Although the eBooks I have produced so far are for kids, you can easily still make minor mistakes.

You have to remember something your English teacher probably preached to you. Double check your work and your spelling. I have to say I thought I had it down. I double checked my spelling, or so I thought.

If you're anything like me then you like to adjust and edit your work until you feel comfortable. In doing so you have to remember, when you're editing and moving things around it affects other parts of the page.

For example, if you move, delete, add, modify, or readjust any of the text boxes or pictures, you are also moving other parts of that page. If you cut and paste, you have to make sure the space in front and behind it are not off set.

Although this may sound like basic or common sense I can assure you that if you don't take the time to correct or check yourself, you can catch some mistakes. They can be small but keep in mind that it can determine your sales. Whether its "Iam" or "Cathcer", it can make all the difference.

Hope this helps someone and don't forget to Double Check.

Check this book out. You'd be surprised as to what you can learn from this kids ebook.

Making my first kids eBook

Making my first Ebook for Amazon Kindle

Hello Everyone! My name is Vanessa, many of my friends call my Vee R. I wanted to share my experience and motivation (hopefully) about something I never thought I'd do.

Writing a book can be intimidating to some people. When you think of writing a book you might think of its hard, my grammar is not very good, or this could take me years from all that writing.

After much curiosity sat in and lots of youtube plus research, I realized that I can totally do this. I can do this thanks to the internet. The information you can find on the web is limitless. I learned that many people resort to reading on a electronic device.

If you pay close attention, and even if you didn't, you can see around us how kids are very into electronic devices. Whether its playing games, listening to music, or even READING a book. This made me realize, that is my niche, I can write a kids book!

So how did I do it? Well I went onto youtube of course. I found out how to publish on amazon kindle and started my thinking process from there. I'm not going to lie, I did think it was going to be extremely difficult to come up with a topic but thanks to the things that I am surrounded with, I was able to get inspired.

Kids books do not require very much proof reading, therefore it's easier to put together a 20+ page book and upload it online. The process of uploading an ebook is probably longer that actually making one.

For my first book I feel accomplished these past weeks. It was nerve wrecking hoping nothing would go wrong but honestly, things did go wrong and it helped me learn for my next one.

Hope this inspires someone to get up and go do it as well. It's kind of easy and with a little of googling, you should be able to do it. Just remember to do the research so that you're not completely lost. If you're interested in which book I published I will post the cover below.

Have a good day everyone!
